Living in the Pacific Northwest with her photographer husband and two children, Mona comes from a family of artists. As a small child she began to draw fashion figures with her great-aunt. From then on she was hooked on drawing. Having attended the Laguna Beach School of Art in high school, she went on to study at Occidental College and the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles. Her influences are diverse, from textile and fashion design, to modern architecture. Above all, she has a passion for strong color and striking forms. Depending on the client, Mona’s illustrations range from the simple and graphic with bold colors, to other times it being all about the lines – curvy and feminine. In each project she strives to create the highest quality image in a fresh new way that will please her and most importantly, her client.
Mona has two portfolios. One that features more stylized, design centric work and the other which focuses on kids projects, with an emphasis on toy companies.
