Rocco Baviera’s iconic illustrations have an organic, timeless charm, evoking a stylish past, inspired by vintage design as well as the mid-century modern era of Mad Men. Whether it’s his ability to create a mood or convey an abstract concept, he does it all in his signature, graphic style.
“I love to combine old school tools with modern technology. While I work digitally, I still start every project with pen and paper, beginning with thumbnails. I started out in the pre-digital era, where you did everything by hand. I try to incorporate hand drawn elements and textures to create a tactile sense of warmth and depth.”
Rocco’s work is ideal for posters, annual reports, packaging, retail, corporate and editorial projects for print + web.
