Sam Ward was commissioned by HarperCollins to illustrate the wrap cover for Sara Ackerman’s novel “The Uncharted Flight of Olivia West”, publishing in 2024. Inspired by true events, the dual-timeline narrative follows Olivia West’s participation in the Dole Air Race of 1927, and Wren Summers’ journey in 1987 to uncover what really happened all those years ago.
