Alexion Pharmaceuticals and the W2O Group hired Miracle Studios to design characters and assets to create awareness for a rare disease, Hypophosphatasia (HPP). HPP is an extremely rare, debilitating metabolic disease that affects bones, muscles, and lungs.
Patients who have the disease fight a heroic battle, working through their symptoms to live full lives. Miracle created super hero characters based on actual patients. In addition, they created the assets for an avatar, HPP Hero Builder,where people can build their own super heroes.
