Orlando Arocena is an artist and graphic designer who works in both traditional and digital mediums. After graduating from Pratt Institute in 1994, he drew his way through Europe, co-founded Uptown Arts, and discovered he had a knack for digital commercial communications. Along with a 22-year track record of delivering creative solutions for some of the world’s most recognizable brands, he has established himself as a non-conventional vector illustrator who explores cultural iconography, pop culture, and speculative narratives within the majority of his movie studio commissions. In 2017, he was awarded a prestigious Gold Clio Entertainment Award for his 19 piece Día De Los Muertos Horror dvd series for 20th Century Fox / MGM Studios. Orlando is currently is a Global Brand Ambassador for Z by HP Computers. In addition to commercial endeavors, he has exhibited his artwork at Miami Art Basel, the Odessa Museum of Western and Eastern Art in Ukraine, The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and with the Official Star Wars exhibition at L’espace Villeneuve Bargemon- Marseille, France.
