Alanna is an illustrator based in Toronto whose style, according to Eric Mutrie of Azure magazine, combines “a storybook illustrator’s sense of whimsy with a fashion designer’s sense of style”. Alanna has worked with editorial, publishing, design and advertising clients, and her images have appeared on many surfaces including wallpaper, greeting cards, dinner plates, and postage stamps. Her unique style combines expressive line art with bold color blocks and mixed media collage elements. Clients include The New York Times, Forbes Tokyo, Style Advisor, LA Weekly, The Atlantic, Google, Neiman Marcus, Penguin Random House, Crane Stationery, VISA, Leo Burnett, and Dentsu. Recent notable projects include a collaboration with Publicis for a City of Toronto campaign, and a 40th Anniversary tote bag for the Gardiner Museum.
