Luke Lucas was selected to participate in the Sesame Street: 50 Years and Counting Exhibition curated by the creative director of T-World, Eddie Zammit at Coops Lane gallery in Melbourne Central. This 3 month long exhibition features artwork by 50 artists to honor the legacy of Sesame Street as it celebrates its 50th season. Each artist was given a character from this iconic show to illustrate. Luke Lucas was given the one and only Elmo, and he used his innovative lettering style to write the classic tagline, “Tickle Me Elmo” in his colorful, fuzzy Sesame Street illustration.
