Hasbro Games/Avalon Hill commissioned Dahl Taylor to create the key art for their new game, Sanibel. This laid-back, meditative tile placement game is inspired by game designer Elizabeth Hargrave’s days on Sanibel Island, Florida, hunting for shells with her family. Dahl hand painted watercolor scenes for the box art and game board as well as all of the seashells for the game tiles. Released early this year, the game recently won Best Family Game in the UK Games Expo 2026 Judges’ Awards.
