Debbie Powell is an illustrator based in Dorset, UK specializing in handcrafted artwork. Predominantly working with linocuts and rubber stamps, she also incorporates a diverse mix of mediums into her imagery such as pencil, ink, paper cut and watercolor.
Debbie draws inspiration from the beautiful roughness of everyday life, the natural world, the intricate details of ancient artifacts and the wondrous imaginations of her children. She weaves these rich influences into her striking and distinctive illustrations.
Clients include Batsford Books, Bloomsbury, Carluccio’s, Japan Railways, Marks & Spencer, Penguin, Rizzoli NY, The Natural History Museum London, Walker Books, Waitrose and West Elm.
