Nick Wroblewski
Welcome, Nick Wroblewski

This month we welcomed woodcut artist Nick Wroblewski to Mendola Artists, a bold addition to our group of engraving artists.

Having explored a wide range of creative mediums before finding his place in printmaking, Nick’s process blends his love of sculpture, painting and composition and achieves a combination of graphic lines and shapes with organic texture and grit.

Nick’s portfolio is a scenic escape into nature. Explore here.

New Games from Hasbro

We’re thankful for all our creative and fun collaborations with Hasbro Games, and we have some exciting new releases to share!

Sweet Takes

Luke Lucas created iridescent lettering and hyper-detailed candy renders for the new strategy card game, Sweet Takes. Luke’s glowing artwork is used on the box and all the cards in this fast-paced game of tricks and treats. See the stunning, sugary details here.

Sanibel

The official first look was just released for Sanibel, a beachy tile placement game coming early 2026. Hasbro commissioned Dahl Taylor to create the key art: painted watercolor scenes for the box art and game board and a collection of seashells for the game tiles. See a preview of the stunning art and learn about the making of the game here.

Life in Reterra: Moonrise Expansion

Hugo Cuellar — illustrator of the world-building strategy game Life in Reterra which made #2 on the Board Game Geek Hotness list last year — has done it again for the recently released Moonrise Expansion pack. The expansion deepens the story of the core game with fresh events, rewards, buildings and more. In addition to the elaborate box art, Hugo’s illustrations are used on on all the cards, tiles and tokens in the pack. Check it out.

C.S.E. Cooney’s Saint Death’s Herald was recently published with eye-catching cover art by Kate Forrester. Lanie Stones is the necromancer that Death has been praying for in this much-anticipated follow-up to the whimsical, joyous, zombie-packed, World Fantasy Award-winning Saint Death’s Daughter — also illustrated by Kate.
