Wall Street’s Big Names

Since Donald Trump’s reelection, anticipated changes under his presidency have dominated the headlines, and this was one of the first. Just days after the election, photo-illustrator Dana Smith was commissioned for the front cover of the Wall Street Journal Exchange about Wall Street luminaries who were once wary of Trump, but are now positioning themselves for influence during his administration. Dana’s photo collages are always impactful and thought-provoking. See more in his recently updated portfolio.

New Adobe Splash Screens

Adobe’s latest app updates are coming with a brand refresh, and that also means new splash screen artwork. For the Adobe Media Encoder they chose to license one of Alexandra Zutto‘s vibrant, bubbly illustrations. The piece is one of a series in which she explores her character design style to express various emotions, using her signature bright colors and glossy effects.

William Murray Golf

Back in October we had the opportunity for a super fun collaboration with William Murray, a golf apparel company inspired by the irreverence of Bill Murray and his brothers. Steve Simpson designed a vibrant print for use in their Skellyshack apparel collection which they launched in honor of Dia de Muertos. His illustration is used on shirts, hats, and a cart towel in the collection. See if you can spot your favorite Caddyshack characters!

Book Covers: The Latest

The Mendola Artists roster includes a wealth of skilled book cover illustrators whose artwork tells stories of all kinds. From mystery and romance to historical and novelty, we’re thankful for the continued collaboration with all our clients in publishing. See the full collection of recent and upcoming titles our artists worked on.

And for all you Romantasy fans out there: if you don’t get your fill from this post, be sure to also check out Echo Chernik’s illustrated Romantasy coloring book, Magical Love, full of intricate, swoon-worthy scenes.

…And that’s all for now! We wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving and look forward to working together on more exciting projects as we close out the year. See you in December!
