Maria Francesca Melis collaborated with Hermés on a stunning campaign for the opening of their new standalone boutique in Sanlitun, Beijing. She developed the illustrations and visual direction for the entire campaign, which spanned posters, street flags, large-scale billboards and hoardings, as well as social media videos. The campaign unfolds around a simple narrative: the artificer falls asleep on a rooftop, drifts through clouds, gardens, and constellations, and then awakens atop the building as the store opens.
