Photo Illustration genius, Ryan Olbrysh was hired to create a portrait series of WWE Superstar wrestlers for the WWE Astrology feature. The feature incorporates illustrative elements based on the Zodiac sign of the wrestlers along with working in watercolor backgrounds. The idea is to make all illustrations look cohesive but still distinguished enough from each other based on the talent and their elements. Each piece incorporated several different images: the sign’s ruling planet, a representation of the sign’s element (water, fire, air, earth), any animals or figures associated with the sign, a zodiac constellation, and a horoscope wheel.
Ryan loved the opportunity to learn about astrology and wrestling. And doesn’t everybody love The Rock!
