The American Revolution Documentary

Two of Mike Wimmer‘s historical paintings were featured in Ken Burns’ newest PBS documentary series, The American Revolution, examining the global impact of America’s founding. The stunning paintings were originally created for Frank Keating’s series of picture books on American founding fathers, published by Simon & Schuster.

Mike is a renowned children’s book illustrator, having worked on many award-winning titles including “Train Song” by Diane Siebert, “Homerun: The Story of Babe Ruth” by Robert Burliegh, and “All the Places to Love” by Patricia MacLachlan. See more of his work on the founding fathers book series here.
