His extensive investigation of Santa Claus spans over 5 decades and 200 pieces of art–covering everything from traditional North Pole workshop scenes to off-duty Santa on vacation. Newsom’s Rockwell-inspired style carries over into his other subject matter, continuously creating iconic imagery such as the sleeping bear for Celestial Seasonings Sleepy Time Tea.
