The book is a snarky, faux-advice book inspired by the classic computer game, The Oregon Trail. Jude had the pleasure of collaborating with author Lauren Reeves on illustrating the fifty life lessons throughout the book as well as the book cover. Inspired by other daily drawing challenges on Instagram, such as “Inktober”, Jude Buffum created the #Blocktober2018 challenge to motivate other pixel-style illustrators to draw a different pixelated monster each day for the month of October. Drawing on his own experiences with yoga and meditation, Jude created the Mindful Monsters series, which paired each monster with an appropriate yoga pose, such as a Haunted Scarecrow in Crow Pose or Werewolf in Downward Facing Dog.

Client: Publix Supermarkets | Description: Mardi Gras is approaching and Echo Chernik’s decorative illustrations promote the celebration!
Echo was approached by The Basin, a new bar and restaurant located in Sanford Florida. The restaurant is art nouveau themed. It celebrates the Old Florida themed bar style with outdoor patio seating, live music, cocktails and cold beer in the open air marketplace, Henrys Depot. The client requested a mermaid with themes that reflect the uniqueness of the town. It’s known for its railway station, and is also the celery capital of Florida.
