Echo Chernik illustrated a book cover for Galaxy Press that was recently featured on the podcast Writers of the Future. The illustration is titled “The Uncertain Egg” and reflects the story about a phoenix goddess that is left with two eggs to hatch and raise.

Echo Chernik was approached earlier this year by Mina Group, to create a logo design for an upcoming business. Trailblazer Tavern. The Trailblazer Tavern is Chef Michael Mina’s exciting new restaurant venture, bringing Hawaiian comfort food to downtown San Francisco. The client specifically asked for a watercolor style of palm leaves for a Hawaiian themed restaurant, but it was very important that it was a vector piece that Looked like watercolor. A selection of leaf configurations was sent over and the client fell in love with this one immediately. Echo’s logo can be seen all over the restaurant in San Francisco.

Echo was approached by The Basin, a new bar and restaurant located in Sanford Florida. The restaurant is art nouveau themed. It celebrates the Old Florida themed bar style with outdoor patio seating, live music, cocktails and cold beer in the open air marketplace, Henrys Depot. The client requested a mermaid with themes that reflect the uniqueness of the town. It’s known for its railway station, and is also the celery capital of Florida.
